The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is proud to share a video spotlight on Graduate Scholarship alumnus Daniel Coeyman. Danny is a talented portrait painter, a published author, and dedicated arts educator living in Brooklyn.  

Danny directs the programming at Apple Arts, a small nonprofit that teaches art to homeless youth in the city. His work has appeared in The Kitchen, the Leslie Lohman Museum, the New Museum, and Purdue University, as well as numerous other galleries in New York. He recently co-authored a book about his childhood hero, the late painter Bob Ross.
