As the former chancellor of New York City schools, Executive Director Harold Levy was in a unique position to comment on today’s events. Speaking with MSNBC’s Kate Snow, Levy stated the school closings required “a judgement call that I’m sure [Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent] Ray Cortines did not take easily.”
