Event: JKCF Plans Young Scholars Program Fall Family Gathering

The leaves are changing colors, pumpkins are everywhere, even in our coffees, and that means fall is here, and it’s time for the Foundation to meet its newest Young Scholars.

This coming Saturday, October 19, the Foundation is bringing together local Young Scholars and their families for its annual Fall Family Gathering.  A recognition ceremony will welcome and introduce the five newest members of the Young Scholars Program, which will be followed by a dessert reception.

Jack Kent Cooke Scholars are known for their desire to give back, so the afternoon will also include a mini-community service project to benefit a Loudoun County, Virginia, community based organization.

We are looking forward to catching up in person with our Young Scholars and meeting some of the newest members of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation community.
